Job summary

US Fertility is seeking an OR/PACU RN to join the Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area in Menlo Park, CA. The role may float to San Ramon as needed, schedule Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with weekend/holiday rotation.

Compensation ranges from $65 to $70 per hour, commensurate with experience, with opportunities for growth within a nationally respected fertility network.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS required or equivalent.
• 2–3 years preferred in Operating Room or PACU.
• Strong assessment and patient-care planning skills.
• Ability to input/retrieve data from a computer.

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative assessment and care planning.
• Manage perioperative care and anesthesia-related tasks.
• Provide comfort and support to patient and family.
• Administer IV medications and monitor responses.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an OR/PACU RN to join our team at Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area in Menlo Park, California. This position will float to San Ramon, California as needed.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekend and holiday rotation
• Compensation:$65 to $70 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the OR/PACU RNwill:

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
• Provide patient education

Qualifications and Skills Include:

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience strongly preferred
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
