Job summary

US Fertility is seeking an OR/PACU RN Per Diem (Float) to join the San Ramon and Menlo Park Ambulatory Surgery Centers in California. This role offers flexible scheduling with a 10% premium for additional shifts, competitive per diem pay, and opportunities to support multiple facilities.

Ideal candidates have an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 2–3 years PACU/operating room experience, preferably in reproductive medicine.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and licensed to practice
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• 2–3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU preferred
• Experience in reproductive medicine or women’s health preferred
• Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of San Ramon and Menlo Park
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate competency in circulating and recovering patients in an ambulatory surgery center environment
• Complete accurate and timely electronic charting, including preoperative, intraoperative, PACU, and discharge documentation
• Assist with surgery center opening and closing responsibilities
• Maintain medication, supply, and equipment inventory and assist with stocking and restocking patient care areas
• Ensure emergency equipment, medications, malignant hyperthermia supplies, and crash carts are inspected and maintained
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to OSHA, infection prevention, medication safety, and controlled substance regulations
• Participate in quality assurance activities, audits, competency validations, and regulatory compliance initiatives
• Cross-train and provide support in other clinical roles as assigned and within the RN scope of practice
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and surgery center operations
