Job summary

Cardinal Health WaveMark Solutions seeks a Sr Clinical Consultant – Procedure Card Optimization to manage and grow relationships with OR and supply chain leaders across a large New Jersey health system. On-site role using WaveMark analytics to drive clinical, financial, and operational improvements in the OR by improving procedure cards and EMR workflows.

The successful candidate will blend data-driven analytics with change management, validate recommendations with clinicians, and build adoption

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years healthcare or analytics experience.
• 3+ years supporting client engagements or large healthcare projects preferred.
• Operating room experience and understanding of clinical product standards required/preferred.
• Experience with Epic EHR and preference card workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop strong relationships with clinical and supply chain stakeholders; actively listen, understand, and articulate client needs.
• Serve as an on-site OR operational partner - working with nurses, surgeons, service line leaders, and supply chain teams to ensure recommendations are clinically sound.
• Lead clinician-facing discussions to validate analytics, confirm clinical appropriateness, and refine proposed changes.
• Drive adoption of procedure card changes through facilitation, education, and engagement with clinical end-users.
• Run WaveMark analytics to identify optimization opportunities related to utilization, outliers, variability, product standardization, and preference card accuracy.
• Translate data outputs into meaningful clinical and operational narratives that highlight impact on patient care, workflow, and cost.
