Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Consultant, Inventory Optimization to lead customer-focused optimization projects across hospitals in Eastern Massachusetts. You will use Cardinal Health tools and reporting to improve inventory management, workflow efficiency, and overall solution performance, traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2–8 years of experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong supply chain material and/or inventory management and customer facing experience preferred.
• Proficient in data analytics tools, including Excel (Pivot Tables).
• Experience with Tableau, preferred.
• Experience with Workday and Epic, preferred.
• Experience working within inventory management systems and other databases, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer-focused optimization projects using Cardinal Health tools and reporting.
• Travel to assigned hospitals throughout Eastern Massachusetts region to support inventory optimization initiatives.
• Perform onsite assessments, reconcile inventory, and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain performance.
• Cultivate relationships with customers to ensure successful experience and long-term partnerships.
• Articulate benefits and adoption strategies to customer supply chains to drive efficiency and retention.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful installation and adoption of solutions.
• Conduct reporting via Excel and Cardinal Health optimization tools.
