Job summary

Intermountain Region ASCs seeks a Charge Nurse (RN) to oversee daily operations of a surgery center. Responsibilities include scheduling procedures, staff management, inventory control, credentialing, safety, QA/QI, risk management, and supporting marketing activities.

The role requires a graduate-nurse with an active RN license, BCLS, ACLS (preferred), and ASPAN membership preferred. Strong leadership and communication in a fast-paced setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Current State RN license.
• Current BCLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification preferred or basic EKG or Arrhythmia identification certification.
• ASPAN membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preceptor for front office operations.
• Clinical Operations Management: monitor day-to-day flow and staffing; back up Circulator, Pre-op, PACU; QA/QI; risk management; PEM.
• Oversee ordering of supplies/linens; ensure current preference cards; physical inventory; communications of op-note changes to billing.
• QA/Compliance management; coordinate equipment repairs; ensure life safety and compliance inspections.
