Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic's ARC Surgery Center North in Round Rock, TX is seeking an ASC Registered Operating Room (OR) Charge Nurse to oversee daily OR operations, supervise staff, and ensure high standards of patient care. The position is full-time with Monday through Friday scheduling, demanding flexibility to respond to intra-day surgical scheduling needs and staffing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two (2) or more years RN experience preferred: ASC/OR experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operating room activities and ensure coverage.
• Coordinate with surgeons and staff for effective communication.
• Manage daily assignments and OR scheduling; cover gaps as needed.
• Document nursing care accurately for continuity of care.
• Maintain current knowledge of licensure and certifications.
