Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the department, providing leadership and clinical guidance as a staff nurse with potential supervisory duties in designated areas.

The candidate must hold a current RN license in the hiring state or a compact licensure, and BLS certification (ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC or others may be required based on the unit). Qualifications

• Current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.
• One or more of the following certifications may be required: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, or other unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Perform staff nurse duties as needed and assume managerial duties delegated by a manager.
