HCA Healthcare’s Parkridge East Hospital is seeking an Operating Room Nurse PRN to join a dynamic surgical team. The role involves patient assessment before surgery, perioperative education for patients and families, and ensuring patient safety through adherence to protocols.

Qualifications include TN RN licensure, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and mandatory OR circulating experience. Excellent teamwork and on-call availability are expected in this PRN position.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Tennessee, or eligible; current licensure required.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• OR Circulating Experience REQUIRED!

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education about the peri-operative process.
• Prepare patients including IV therapy and preoperative meds.
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies.
• Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to improve workflow and patient safety.
