Physicians Regional Medical Center -North Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. Qualifications

• RN licensure in state or compact state.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Experience in OR nursing or acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate perioperative care and assist during procedures.
• Document assessments, interventions and patient responses.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to plan and deliver care.
• Ensure infection control and patient safety throughout perioperative care.
• Educate patients and families on perioperative care and recovery.
