Responsibilities

• Scheduling cases, ensuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and circulating surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care.
• Supports, implements and ensures compliance with all Vendor/Hospital and regulatory/accrediting agency standards, regulations and policies and procedures.
• Provides patient rights emphasis, safe and effective care and participates in discharge planning and handoffs as required by hospital policy.
