Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our operating room team in McKinney, Texas.

The role involves comprehensive patient care across preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative phases, applying the nursing process and collaborating with the surgical team. The ideal candidate will hold a Texas RN license with BLS certification, ACLS/PALS or be prepared to obtain them within 3 months, and have at least two years of OR experience.

Qualifications

• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• Current Texas RN License.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS or successful completion within 3 months of hire date.
• 2 year OR experience.
• Must possess organizational skills to function in a fast paced OR environment.

Responsabilités

• Performs assessment/data collection focusing on physiologic, psychological and cognitive status.
• Forms a goal directed plan of care based on nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes.
• Implements care in a knowledgeable, skilled manner to reach patient outcomes.
• Establishes priorities of patient care based on essential needs and resources.
• Performs efficiently in emergency situations following established protocols.
• Demonstrates knowledge in medical/surgical patient care, pain assessment and pharmacologic actions.
• Maintains documentation in patient records accurately and concisely.
• Works as part of a team to deliver patient care.
