Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking an RN Manager for the OR to lead day-to-day clinical operations of the center, overseeing OR, Endoscopy, PAT, PACU and SPD. The role focuses on scheduling, staffing, QA/QI, regulatory readiness and staff development to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

The Nurse Manager collaborates with the Administrator, participates in annual policy reviews, and leads education, onboarding and competency programs to maintain high standards of service in a busy surgical

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Registered Nurse licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to operating and clinical policies/procedures.
• Manage the surgical and procedural schedule to ensure operational efficiencies.
• Conduct performance evaluations of clinical staff.
• Coordinate new hire training and orientation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness.
• Oversee supply chain coordination with the Administrator.
• Provide staff education and in-services.
• Perform patient care duties as needed.
