Job summary

UC San Diego Health in San Diego is seeking a valuable team member for Perioperative Services to support supply ordering and inventory control. You will ensure PAR levels are maintained, sort daily deliveries, rotate stock, and promptly flag any delivery or purchasing errors to supervisors.

Responsibilities include orderly storage, breaking down packing materials, and processing outdated items, with additional duties as assigned to support surgical teams and patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of appropriate/related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Recent experience in a customer service role, preferably in a large, complex healthcare environment.
• Must possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to this position.

Responsibilities

• Order surgical supplies and maintain inventory PAR levels daily.
• Sort daily supply deliveries; rotate and replenish stock items.
• Advise supervisor of delivery/purchasing errors; pull and process outdated items.
• Store supplies neatly and orderly; break down and remove cardboard packaging and shipping materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
