Job summary

UC San Diego Health in San Diego is seeking a valuable team member for Perioperative Services to support supply ordering and inventory control. You will ensure PAR levels are maintained, sort daily deliveries, rotate stock, and promptly flag any delivery or purchasing errors to supervisors.

Responsibilities include orderly storage, breaking down packing materials, and processing outdated items, with additional duties as assigned to support surgical teams and patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of appropriate/related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Recent experience in a customer service role, preferably in a large, complex healthcare environment.
• Must possess the skills, knowledge, and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to this position.

Job description

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduation from an approved healthcare training/certification program.
• Previous Supply Chain ERP/MMIS ordering knowledge.
• Knowledge of ORSOS, Pro Click, and Microsoft Office.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

• Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $60,406 - $60,406 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $28.93 - $28.93
