Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Utilizes standards to support practices within the specialty.
• Serves as a liaison, preceptor and SME to the service line.
• Works with materials management to ensure equipment and supplies are available prior to the case.
• Maintains asepsis during all phases of procedures.
• Assists the OR RN in preparation and maintenance of the operating room.
• Acts as the Specialty Expert for the Surgical Services department.
• Provides technical expertise while assisting during surgery.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon during surgery.
