Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) OR - Operating Room Lead to provide leadership on the OR Pod 2 Trauma team.

Responsibilities include leading complex patient care plans, coordinating perioperative services, and serving as a clinical resource on a 3/12-hour shift schedule with rotating weekdays.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's
• RN license
• Bachelor's degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Facilitates identification and resolution of gaps in care from hospitalization, at discharge, and into the ambulatory care setting.
• Leads the development and implementation of complex individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and the patient, family, or caregiver.
• Actively utilizes and champions scientific inquiry for evidence-based practices and facilitates practice change based on new knowledge.
• Analyzes gaps in practice standards and provides feedback to peers to enhance safe patient care and patient satisfaction.
