BJC HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) OR - Operating Room for a nursing role in Valley Park, Missouri. The unit emphasizes a close-knit team environment and high standards of care in perioperative services.

Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for OR procedures, acting as a liaison with physicians, mentoring staff, and managing specialty supply inventories. A BSN is preferred; AD-N candidates are considered.

Responsibilities

• Circulates and scrubs for assigned specialty and OR procedures.
• Serves as liaison between specialty physicians and hospital. Reviews and maintains physician preference cards from assigned specialty. Maintains proper function of equipment in assigned specialty.
• Serves as a clinical preceptor/mentor for oriented staff and existing staff, providing clinical experience and training on new equipment.
• Manages the inventory of specialty supplies to maintain par levels and coordinates with vendors.
