Job summary

Riverton Gastroenterology Center is seeking a Materials Manager to oversee inventory, purchasing, and supply operations. You will manage receiving, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment, coordinate daily department activities, and ensure accurate processing of purchase orders and supplier communications.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience in hospital or surgery-center supply chains, and the ability to support clinical teams with timely stock and equipment

Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare products, stock rotation, storage systems, inventory management, and supplier relations.
• Ability to manage large volumes of detailed work accurately and multi-task.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily inventory and all receiving/distribution processes for supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate daily department operations including distribution, inventory, and record keeping.
• Ensure orders are checked against packing slips and POs for accuracy and scanned into COUPA or the facility system.
• Assist surgery staff in preparing supplies for next-day cases.
• Maintain stock levels in patient care areas and set up backups with suppliers.
