Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• BLS/Basic Life Support certification required within 60 days of starting.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and hospital supplies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure BLS certification is current and ABT renewed annually.
• Assist with patient transport to the OR and equipment setup.
• Maintain clean and sterile rooms; handle sterile instruments.
• Communicate with OR staff, anesthesia, and nursing units promptly.
• Adhere to HIPAA and protect patient confidentiality in all duties.
• Maintain proper documentation and assist with room turnover per policy.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
