Job summary

Humble Vascular Surgical Center Inc. is seeking an RN Circulator to support intraoperative patient care in our surgical suite in Cleveland, Ohio.

You will coordinate nursing actions with the surgical team and monitor patients through the perioperative process. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an active RN license, CPR and ACLS certification, and at least 1 year of OR experience, with orthopedic surgery exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; active RN license.
• CPR and ACLS required.
• Minimum 1 year in the OR.
• Orthopedic surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient throughout the surgical process.
• Manages monitoring equipment, fluid lines, tubes, drains and catheters as needed, including support of operative extremity.
• Uses good judgement in determining appropriate nursing action and exhibits control in emergency situations.
• Successfully completes CPR/PALS/ACLS certification/recertification.
• Makes independent clinical decisions as appropriate regarding patient's need for nursing care and communicates same to appropriate personnel.
• Demonstrates a team player attitude and utilized work time efficiently.
