Job summary

Humble Vascular Surgical Center Inc. seeks an experienced RN Circulator for a full-time role. The RN will provide perioperative nursing care and support the surgical team in a fast-paced center, delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, managing monitoring equipment, lines, drains and catheters, and acting decisively in emergencies. Requires RN license, CPR/ACLS, and at least one year of OR experience; orthopedic surgery experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with current state license and graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • CPR and ACLS certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of OR experience.
  • Orthopedic surgery experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patient throughout the surgical process.
  • Manage monitoring equipment, fluid lines, tubes, drains and catheters, including support of operative extremity.
  • Use good judgment in determining appropriate nursing actions and maintain control in emergencies.
  • Maintain CPR/PALS/ACLS certification.
  • Make independent clinical decisions regarding patient needs and communicate with the care team.
  • Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset and use work time efficiently.

Job Title: RN Circulator (Full-Time) Monday-Thursday rotating depending how the weeks fall with the block schedule.

General Summary of Duties: Registered Nurse who assumes responsibility and accountability through the nursing process, for the surgical care of the Center patient in collaboration with other health care providers.

Responsibilities
  • Monitors patient throughout the surgical process.
  • Manages monitoring equipment, fluid lines, tubes, drains and catheters as needed, including support of operative extremity.
  • Uses good judgement in determining appropriate nursing action and exhibits control in emergency situations.
  • Successfully completes CPR/PALS/ACLS certification/recertification.
  • Makes independent clinical decisions as appropriate regarding patient's need for nursing care and communicates same to appropriate personnel.
  • Demonstrates a team player attitude and utilized work time efficiently.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current state RN license.
  • CPR and ACLS required.
  • Minimum 1 years in the OR
  • Orthopedic surgery experience preferred
