Job summary

Banner Surgery Center – Chandler, managed by Atlas Healthcare Partners, is located at S Alma School Rd and W Pecos Rd in Chandler. The center features 3 operating rooms and a procedure room, delivering patient-centered nursing care with a focus on timeliness and efficiency.

The RN position assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for diverse patient populations in the perioperative setting, ensuring quality and safety throughout the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or higher.
• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS certification required within 90 days of start date if assigned ASC services pediatrics.
• Core (FT/PT): Minimum one-year licensed RN experience in OR or perioperative areas.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care.
• Formulates a plan of care with discharge planning.
• Implements the plan of care and coordinates activities of the health care team.
• Evaluates patient and family outcomes and revises the plan as needed.
• Documents assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record.
• Promotes evidence-based practice and participates in staff education and mentoring.
