Job summary

AZ Ortho Joint Replacement Center is hiring an OR RN to join our operating room team in Scottsdale. This full-time position provides nursing care under a Charge Nurse and Clinical Director, ensuring patient safety during transfers and procedures.

Sign-on bonus of $10,000 is available. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited RN program, active RN license in the state, BLS/ACLS/PALS as required, and at least 1 year as a circulator.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist in carrying out safe aseptic techniques and procedures.
• Supervise and direct the activities of surgical technicians and staff as needed.
• Perform patient assessments for specific nursing care needs.
• Check room for supplies and prepare for the patient and procedure.
• Assist in transporting patients to the OR and review pre-op records.
• Perform cleanup and general housekeeping after procedures.
• Set up room with all equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Participate in committees and educational programs to improve care.
• Review physicians' preference cards and update as needed.
• Perform counts of sponges, needles, and instruments and document.
