Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process.

• Ensure necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and functioning properly.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor adherence to sterile technique and patient safety protocols.
• Document surgical procedures, patient status, and nursing interventions accurately.
• Advocate for patients throughout all phases of the perioperative experience.
• Participate in on-call coverage as part of the regular schedule.

Position Overview

This position serves as the primary patient advocate in the operating room, ensuring patient safety, maintaining surgical standards, and supporting seamless communication among members of the surgical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee patient care throughout the surgical process.
• Perform preoperative assessments and verify patient readiness for surgery.
