Job summary

Management Performance Associates is hiring a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room as a Circulator. You will oversee perioperative patient care, collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and ensure safe, efficient procedures.

The role requires an active NC or compact license, BLS and ACLS within set timelines, and at least 2 years of OR circulator experience. Expect a 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM schedule with on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Current North Carolina State License or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Surgery and Operating Room Circulating RN roles is required.
• Experience with orthopedic, general surgery, da Vinci, and some OB/GYN procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation for all surgical procedures.
• Support the surgical team by anticipating needs and ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Deliver age-appropriate and procedure-specific nursing care throughout the perioperative process.
