Job summary

Joseph Michaels International is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room as a Circulator. This mid-level role focuses on proactive patient care and safe, efficient surgical procedures.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia, and precise documentation throughout the perioperative process. The position requires current NC licensure, BLS/ACLS within designated timelines, and at least 2 years of OR Circulator

Qualifications

• North Carolina State License or Compact License with NC endorsement.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Surgery and OR Circulating RN roles.
• Experience with orthopedic, general surgery, da Vinci, and OB/GYN procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for all procedures.
• Support surgical team to ensure smooth workflow.
• Deliver perioperative nursing care throughout the process.
