Job summary

Paycom is seeking an Operating Room Circulator RN in Monterey, CA to join our surgical team. The role requires an active CA RN license, a nursing degree, and minimum 2 years in the OR as a Circulating Nurse.

Qualifications

• CA RN license required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2 years as operating room Circulating Nurse.
• BLS/PALS/ACLS required; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the operating room and ensuring all equipment is sterile and functional.
• Assessing patients before surgery and ensuring proper positioning on the operating table.
• Communicating effectively with the surgical team throughout procedures.
• Advocating for patient safety and comfort at all times.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and responses to surgery.
• Administering medications as directed by the surgical team.
• Documenting all aspects of patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assisting with patient transport to and from the operating room.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position pays a competitive rate of $63.00-93.00 per hour depending on the level of experience. We offer a full suite of benefits including 401k with company match, medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as voluntary Aflac plans. We have a generous PTO schedule and our staff enjoy a Monday-Friday schedule.
