Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group is looking for a full-time Perioperative Staff RN in Conroe, Texas, around an hour from Houston. You will collaborate with a healthcare team to provide competent care to surgical patients, maintain high standards of patient confidentiality, and support a 120-bed community hospital.

The position includes approximately eight days of call per month and offers a competitive pay range of $45–$50 per hour, alongside a $20,000 sign-on bonus for a two-year commitment. A full benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment; CNOR certification preferred.

Hours and compensation potential:

• Full-time position. Hours are 7 am–3 pm with approximately eight days of call per month.
• Pay range $45–$50 per hour, with a $20,000 sign‑on bonus for a two‑year commitment and a full benefits package.

What you’ll be doing:

• The Perioperative Staff RN uses the nursing process, collaborates with the physician and healthcare team in the delivery of care to patients who are preparing for, have had, or are undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures.
• Conducts ongoing and systematic collection of data guided by physiological and psychological principles, establishes a nursing diagnosis and predicts outcomes.
• Coordinates and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses, establishes patient goals, and develops a plan of care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Delivers appropriate care to patients at a competent level, implements interventions, and evaluates progress toward attained outcomes.
• Communicates effectively with physicians and other team members, provides patient/family teaching, administers and reconciles medications, and adheres to infection prevention protocols.
• Demonstrates an understanding of patient rights, including confidentiality, informed consent, and privacy.
• Exhibits adaptability, problem‑solving, and professional behavior at all times.
• Participates in systemic, interdisciplinary evaluation of programs, process improvement, and client‑centered outcomes.
• Promotes professional growth by meeting mandatory or continuing education requirements, supporting department goals, and serving as preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and appropriate handling of PHI.
• Actively participates in survey readiness activities and ensures department compliance with all regulatory standards.
