Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Charge Resource Nurse for the Operating Room. This on-site role oversees delegation and supervision of nursing care for a defined patient group, ensuring safety and efficiency in the OR. Monday–Friday days, no weekends or call, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements include OR experience, IL RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and ongoing leadership development. Collaboration with anesthesia, discharge, and recovery teams is essential to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a surgical setting with ability to lead teams.
• Experience coordinating OR staffing and resource allocation.
• Certified operating room nursing or pursuing certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delegation and supervision of nursing care in the OR.
• Manage daily staffing and resources for elective and emergent cases.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, discharge, recovery, and surgeons.
• Uphold safety, quality, and performance standards in line with Memorial Health.
