Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a Charge Resource Nurse for the Operating Room in Illinois. The role focuses on delegation, supervision, and provisioning of nursing care for surgical patients, with leadership duties and collaboration with anesthesia and surgical teams.

Office hours are Monday–Friday, 6am–2:30pm, with no weekends or on-call obligations. Requirements include OR experience, Illinois RN licensure, and BLS/CPR.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Illinois (IL) with current BLS/CPR per policy.
• Leadership experience: developing leadership competencies and managing teams in a surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Delegate, supervise, and provide nursing care for a designated operating room patient group.
• Assign appropriate, competent nursing personnel and manage daily caseload and staffing.
• Coordinate with anesthesia, outpatient discharge, recovery, and surgeons to ensure efficient OR operations.
