Job summary

Pacific Endo-Surgical Center is hiring an OR Charge Nurse, full-time. The Charge Nurse will oversee perioperative staff, coordinate case scheduling, prepare staffing, and lead staff meetings to ensure smooth case flow and compliance with department policies.

Qualified candidates will have a California RN license, BLS/ACLS, and at least three years in perioperative areas, with strong communication and multitasking abilities. This role supports USPI's ambulatory network.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• California RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Three years perioperative experience.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients, families and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the clinical staff to provide a daily smooth flow of cases.
• Coordinates daily/weekly case scheduling to ensure the schedule flows smoothly.
• Prepares staffing schedules.
• Coordinates and/ or leads monthly staff meetings for all departments.
• Communicates with physicians to resolve issues and improve efficiency.
• Reviews equipment needed for cases.
• Coordinates inventory with the materials manager.
• Assists with staff education and in-services.
