Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking an Intermediate Nursing Aide to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with admissions, daily living activities, vital signs, and prepare patients for procedures in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include accurate EMR entries, timely hand-offs, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Certification or course in Nurse Aide per NY SDOH requirements.
• Experience meeting care plans and patient needs under supervision.
• CPR/BLS within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care as directed by the RN.
• Perform end-of-shift hand-offs with the next aide.
• Notify nurse of changes in patient condition.
• Record vitals, weights, specimens in EMR and report abnormalities.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, and daily living activities.
• Transport patients to tests and procedures as needed.
• Assist with admissions and discharges under supervision.
• Maintain supplies and follow safety procedures.
