Job summary

MaineHealth MidCoast Parkview campus is seeking a Registered Nurse II for the Acute Care unit. The role focuses on professional nursing practice, leadership, and collaborative patient care.

Requirements include RN license in the state, BLS, and 1 year of RN experience. ACLS/PALS within a year; NRP for OB/NICU staff may be required. A generous sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing is required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the applicable state; BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days.
• ACLS and PALS within one year of start date; OB/NICU nurses may require NRP within one year.
• One year of RN experience required; demonstrates competency in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in Acute Care with clinical nursing practice.
• Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and ongoing development.
• Perform independent assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Adhere to unit policies and participate in team-based care.
