Job summary

MaineHealth's Waldo Hospital in Maine is seeking a Registered Nurse 2 for a full-time, 36 hour/week Day shift. This role focuses on high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus for 0–2 years RN experience and $20,000 for more than 2 years, with prorated amounts for part-time hires. Required RN license and BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current RN license in applicable state; BLS required or within 30 days; other area-specific certifications may be required.
• Experience: One year of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
• Collaborate and communicate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
• Support after-hours call coverage in Surgical Services as needed.
