Job summary

Pen Bay Hospital, part of MaineHealth, is seeking a Registered Nurse - Acute Care for a full-time, 36-hour week daytime shift. The role delivers high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, collaborating with the healthcare team.

Requirements include RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS within timelines, BSN preferred, and 1 year RN experience preferred. A $10k–$20k sign-on bonus is offered for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current RN license; BLS cert required or obtained within 30 days. ACLS/PALS within 1 year; NRP for OB/NEC per guidelines.
• Experience: One year of recent RN experience preferred.
• Additional Skills/Requirements: Fetal monitoring competency; OB/ NICU requirements per department guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care and effective communication.
• Assist and delegate within the unit to maintain efficient workflow and patient safety.
