Riverside Medical Group, part of the OptumCare network, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. We offer a flexible schedule, competitive pay, and a supportive environment focused on high-quality care and community involvement.

Schedule

Monday through Friday with flexible hours and alternate Saturdays.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
2. Room patients, obtain health histories, check vital signs, and perform EKGs.
3. Administer injections and collect specimens.
4. Document patient care using electronic medical record software.
5. Schedule appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls, and complete paperwork.
6. Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, or physician assistants with minor, in-office procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• National Medical Assistant certification.
• Computer literacy.
• Flexible schedule to assist at nearby practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing clinical back-office duties including phlebotomy, injections, and vital signs.
• Experience with Epic EMR.
• Pediatric experience.

Compensation

For New Jersey residents, the hourly range is $16.00 to $27.31, based on factors such as experience, education, and certifications. Benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions.
