Position: Certified Medical Assistant

Schedule: Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule and alternate Saturdays.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
2. Room patients, obtain health history, check vital signs, and perform EKGs.
3. Administer injections and collect specimens.
4. Document patient care using electronic medical records.
5. Schedule appointments, handle prior authorizations, process medication refills, manage referrals, answer calls, and complete paperwork.
6. Assist healthcare providers with minor procedures.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• National Medical Assistant certification.
• Computer literacy.
• Flexible schedule; ability to assist at nearby practices.

Preferred:

• Experience with clinical back-office duties, including phlebotomy, injections, vital signs, and medical history documentation.
• Experience with Epic EMR.
• Pediatrics experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

The hourly rate ranges from $16.00 to $28.85, depending on experience and other factors. Benefits include a comprehensive package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contributions, among others.
