Position: Certified Medical Assistant

Schedule: Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule and alternate Saturdays.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment.
  2. Room patients, obtain health histories, check vital signs, and perform EKGs.
  3. Administer injections and collect specimens.
  4. Document patient care using electronic medical records.
  5. Schedule appointments, handle prior authorizations, process medication refills, and manage referrals and paperwork.
  6. Assist physicians and other providers with minor procedures.
Qualifications - External

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • National Medical Assistant certification
  • Computer literacy
  • Flexible schedule, able to assist at nearby practices

Preferred:

  • Experience with clinical back-office duties including phlebotomy, injections, vital signs, and medical history recording
  • Experience with Epic EMR
  • Pediatric experience
Compensation and Benefits (New Jersey Residents Only):

Hourly range: $16.00 to $27.31, based on factors like experience and certifications. Benefits include comprehensive packages, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401(k). All employment is subject to eligibility requirements.
