University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) invites applications for Academic Peer Tutors for the Rosenberg School of Optometry. The program supports students taking Clinical Optometry I, Optics, Anatomy, Neuroanatomy, Organ Pathology, and Ocular Anatomy & Physiology I during the 2026-2027 academic year.

This is a student position open to current Rosenberg School of Optometry students who have completed the course(s) they wish to tutor with a grade of B or higher.

Formación

• Current Rosenberg School of Optometry student who has completed the course(s) they wish to tutor with a grade of B- or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support and tutoring knowledge in a small or large group or individual setting.
• Share knowledge of course materials in selected coursework.
• Develop a strong working relationship with assigned students.
• Consult with faculty about topics students most need assistance with
• Keep accurate records of hours worked
• Perform other duties as assigned
