Job summary

Eyemart Express is seeking a Front Desk Associate (Optometrist's Technician) to support the store Doctor and assist patients with exams and eyewear purchases. The role involves welcoming customers, performing pre-tests, ordering and dispensing contact lenses, and ensuring accurate data entry and HIPAA-compliant file management.

Compensation includes base pay of $18-$19 per hour plus incentives, with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience working in retail, customer service, or sales.
• Experience working in the optical industry is preferred but not required. We are willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients.
• Sell contact lenses and promote Eyemart's specials and prices.
• Process payments and refunds using the in-house POS system.
• Perform pre-test procedures and assist the Doctor as needed.
• Maintain patient files and HIPAA compliance.
