Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• About 1 year of optical dispensing and front/back optometric office experience.
• Must obtain CPR certification within three months of hire.
• Background check including FBI fingerprinting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manage optical clinic activities and patient flow.
• Register patients and verify insurance information.
• Create schedules and check patients in/out of the clinic.
• Take measurements for frames and repairs as needed.
• Prepare prescriptions and lab orders for glasses.
• Assist Optometrists and Ophthalmologists with tests and exams.
• Provide patient education on lenses, care, and contact lenses.
