Job summary

Indian Health Service in Wellpinit, WA seeks a licensed Doctor of Optometry to provide comprehensive eye care within federally funded health facilities. You will examine, diagnose, and treat ocular diseases, develop treatment plans, prescribe lenses and medications, and provide emergency ocular care in outpatient and inpatient settings.

Applicants must meet optometry licensure requirements, be a U.S. citizen, pass a federal background check, and be willing to relocate or accept recruitment

Qualifications

• Completed Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited program.
• NBEO examinations passed and current, unrestricted Optometry license in the U.S.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass background/security checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular diseases.
• Develop and implement treatment plans including corrective lenses and therapies.
• Provide emergency ocular care in outpatient and inpatient settings.
