Job summary

Acuity Eyecare group is seeking an optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams and support practice growth by building lasting patient relationships through education and quality care. The role includes patient interviews, recommending treatment options for ametropias and ocular diseases, performing vision tests, and providing pre- and postoperative eye care when needed.

You will collaborate with staff to ensure high-quality lens and contact lens selections.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and determine ocular history and needs.
• Educate patients on remediation options and promote practice values.
• Perform vision tests and analyze results to diagnose issues.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contacts, and medications as appropriate.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care after eye surgery when needed.
• Promote eye health and counsel patients on lens options and care.
• Communicate recommendations clearly to staff and patients.
