Big City Optical in Chicago seeks a licensed Optometrist to join our team and deliver high-quality eye care to our patient community.

You will perform eye exams, prescribe lenses, educate patients, and collaborate with a skilled support staff while maintaining up-to-date electronic health records.

Qualifications

• OD degree required from an accredited institution.
• IL license to practice optometry required.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with electronic health records software (EHR) and optical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care with state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment.
• Provide comprehensive eye care (medical and routine) to patients of all ages.
• Educate patients on their visual and medical conditions.
• Make recommendations on vision and eye health enhancing solutions.
• Work with a support team of professional technicians and opticians.
• Complete electronic health records.
