Job summary

Acuity Eyecare Group is seeking a full-time optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams on-site in Missouri (O’Fallon). You will build long-term patient relationships, educate patients on eyecare, and manage refractive care, ocular health, and post-operative visits.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Establish long-term patient relationships through proper care and education.
• Perform verbal interviews prior to examination to determine health, ocular history and needs.
• Instruct and advise patients on options for refractive correction and ocular conditions.
• Generate patient loyalty and promote optometry and practice values.
• Conduct vision tests and analyze results.
• Diagnose sight problems and eye diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contacts, and medications as appropriate.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care for eye surgeries and post-op visits.
• Educate patients on eye health and schedule ongoing exams.
