Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.
• Strong patient communication and education skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams.
• Perform vision tests and analyze results.
• Diagnose sight problems and eye diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contacts, and medications.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care after eye surgery.
• Educate patients on eyecare and promote eye health.
• Coordinate with staff and opticians for best lens options.
• Refer patients for diabetes screening when needed.
• Build patient loyalty and support practice growth.
