You will build long-term patient relationships, discuss treatment options for refractive errors and eye diseases, prescribe eyewear and medications, and coordinate postoperative and vision therapy care with staff and physicians.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through education.
• Perform pre- and postoperative care for eye surgery.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contacts, and medications.
• Recommend treatments such as vision therapy or low-vision rehabilitation.
• Educate patients on eye health and lens options; coordinate with staff.
