Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Doctor of Optometry to perform comprehensive eye exams, communicate treatment options, and provide ongoing patient education. The optometrist will support patient growth and education within Acuity Eyecare group practices, ensuring high-quality eye care and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include vision testing, diagnosing refractive errors and ocular diseases, and prescribing eyewear and medications as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from a credentialed institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and vision tests.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through care and education.
• Communicate options for remediation of refractive errors and diseases to patients.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications as appropriate.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care and counsel on eye health.
