Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a licensed optometrist to conduct comprehensive eye examinations and provide patient education to support eye health within Acuity Eyecare group. You will diagnose vision issues, prescribe glasses, contacts, and medications, and promote ongoing eye care with the patient and staff.

Responsibilities include obtaining ocular history, performing tests, and advising on treatment options while maintaining strong patient relationships and ensuring high-quality eye care delivery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited institution.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.
• Excellent patient communication and education skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain long-term patient relationships.

Responsibilities

• Conduct eye exams and diagnose vision problems.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contacts, and medications.
• Perform vision tests and analyze results.
• Educate patients on eye care and treatment options.
• Promote eye health and refer to specialists when needed.
• Coordinate with staff and opticians for optimal lens selections.
• Provide pre- and postoperative care for eye procedures.
