Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an optometrist to perform comprehensive eye examinations, assess ocular health, and educate patients within Acuity Eyecare Group practices. You will build patient relationships, discuss treatment options, and advance eye care together with a skilled team.

The role requires Doctorate of Optometry and active state licensure, with responsibilities including prescribing eyewear and vision therapy when indicated. On-site position with full-time hours and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited program.
• Must have passed all optometric state boards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams and assess ocular health.
• Establish long-term patient relationships through education and care.
• Take patient history and determine health and ocular issues.
• Advise on treatment options for refractive errors and eye diseases.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications as appropriate.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care related to eye procedures.
